We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join the Reddy Raw team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment within our facilities. This includes some electrical, mechanical, and HVAC with an emphasis on freezer and cooler maintenance, and coordinating work with third party contractors hired to make additional repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

salary: $60,000 - $65,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 4 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks

• Perform routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needed - Daily inspections of freezer and coolers with an emphasis on identifying racks in need of repair, locating any ice buildup and any door malfunctions.

• Troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems to determine root causes

• Follow schematics, blueprints, and manuals to perform repairs and installations

• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations

• Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 5lbs

• standing for 6 hours at one time

• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
