Chemours is seeking a Channel Partner Manager to join our growing Advanced Performance Materials team! This position will report directly to the Americas Sales Leade r at our Wilmington, DE location.
The APM global sales function is a key enabler in driving growth for the organization. The collective team is focused on building and maintaining business with existing customers in core or strategic markets, managing relationships and driving growth with our channel partners, and finding opportunities with prospective customers. All of these roles are supported by and work seamlessly with phenomenal sales operations and customer service teams to help day-to-day operations run smoothly.
As a Channel Partner Manager at Chemours, you will be responsible for building strong, trusted relationships and growing the business with our key channel partners by selling new and existing applications. You’ll manage all day-to-day business aspects with our channel partners and identify new growth opportunities.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain and nurture existing, trusted channel partner relationships, supporting partners with new opportunities and resolving issues
Partner with channel partners to identify new leads and opportunities, communicating Chemours’ value proposition, and understanding whitespace
Educate channel partners on Chemours’ products and services to effectively communicate Chemours’ value proposition to channel partners and their end-customers
Understand channel partner’s business, decision-makers, purchasing process, and end customers to position Chemours products down the value chain
Foresee industry trends and recommend innovative products that help address industry needs across the value chain
Communicate key drivers of customer demand, update accurate forecasts consistent with market indicators, and collaboratively define channel partner performance to set expectations and track goals
Channel partners’ performance with Chemours, driving improvement plans to deliver the most value to both the organization and our customers
Establish trust and rapport across different markets and products
Manage large channel partners and delivering high-quality customer experience
Effectively collaborate with multiple teams (product managers, technology services, R&D) to produce the best solution for the customer
Build and present commercial, business and financial acumen both written and verbally in a clear, concise, and professional manner
Draft, negotiate, and close contracts with ease
The following is required for this role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or science related discipline
Proven ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with distributors, top-level account decision-makers, and internal stakeholders
Demonstrated competency in managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic fast-paced environment, including general contract management
Ability to work independently with little supervision – highly self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented
Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills including a polished phone presence, must be able to establish credibility with customers
Analytical skillset to build scorecards, follow up on marketing campaigns, and prioritize a pipeline of opportunities
Highly motivated and dependable
Willing to travel up to 30%
The following is preferred for this role:
Science-related discipline (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.)
Minimum of 3 – 5 years of business-to-business field sales or inside sales experience
Prior sales/negotiation experience and/or training
Experience in managing books of business with distributors or other channel partners

$93,184.00 - $145,600.00
