Elementary teacher  K-5 Job Description/Tasks/Responsibilities: *  Acknowledges Christ as Savior and seeks to live life as His disciple *  Is a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions toward others *  Maintains a positive Christian atmosphere in the classroom *  Reinforces appropriate social and academic behavior in the classroom *  Prepares lessons, units, and projects to meet learning objectives *  Establishes and communicates clear objectives for lessons, units, and projects *  Tracks and evaluates student performance *  Differentiates instruction to meet student needs *  Communicates regularly with parents/guardians *  Completes all paperwork as required by the position (grade cards, interim reports, etc.) *  Maintains positive rapport and relationships with students, parents, coworkers, and supervisors *  Pursues professional learning to remain current and keep credentials up to date
