TITLE: Supervisor of Programs for Exceptional Students LOCATION: Jefferson Lewis BOCES with initial assignment in Jefferson County Region RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Responsibilities include the supervision/evaluation of selected Special Education staff members, resolution of student discipline issues as well as liaison with Committees on Special Education, school district administrators, and other agencies. QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates should possess prior teaching and preferably administrative experience in Special Education. New York State Certification as a School Building Leader, School Administrator/Supervisor, School District Administrator or School District Leader. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $75,000-$82,000. This is a 12-month position. Salary commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement.
