The laundry technician is responsible for ensuring the constant flow, quality of inventory, and upholding Fabulous Events standards of operating.

Job Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, and bag laundry according to established SOPs and guidelines.
• Inspect items for stains or damage and pre-treat accordingly.
• Operate laundry equipment, commercial washers, and dryers.
• Ensure proper handling and care of delicate linen.
• Monitor inventory of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Collaborate with receiving and shipping staff to manage the flow of linens.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the laundry area.
• Maintain accurate records of clients linen processing.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for handling chemicals and equipment.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment to management for prompt repairs.
• Follow established procedures for lost and found items in the laundry process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping role, or ability to learn.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation or ability to learn.
• Attention to detail and ability to spot stains or damages.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods of time and lift heavy laundry up to 50Lbs.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of laundry chemicals or ability to learn
