Fabulous Events Customer Service Sales Administrator in Waterford, Michigan

The Customer Service Sales Administrator is an important part of the client relationship and has experience for all services. You will Maintain data with inhouse Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. Entrusted with ensuring customer requirements and expectations are confirmed, documented, and communicated to the appropriate team members for the event. While working in a fun and upbeat culture daily serving clients and being the liaison between sales and operations. If you have an interest in design, experience with events, and thrive to make sure details are organized in the correct place, this is the job for you!

General Accountabilities

  • Provides customers' information about products or services. Work with client to correctly enter quote details for orders. Follows the order through the end while working along with vendors, operation, and sales team.
  • Processes quote requests, rentals, cancellations, confirms all details of changes with client, monitors payments for rentals.
  • Meets with Clients in the Showroom Gallery to help put their event vision together.
  • Keeps records of customer interactions, online phone and in person recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
  • Ensures full customer satisfaction and maintains a friendly, upbeat, helpful demeanor.
  • Maintains close contact with customers to give updates on progress toward resolution of issue or service request; refers unresolved customer issues to designated departments for further investigation.
  • Identifies and prioritizes problems and issues related to service areas, reports to Sales Manager.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with managing client orders and administrative tasks accurately.
  • Proficient in computer systems, Microsoft Office and adaptability to new CRM applications.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations and tight deadlines calmly and professionally.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Skills

  • Strong phone, email and in person communication
  • Experience preferred in event, hospitality industry.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple details that are necessary for fulfilling contractual obligations for the client's event.
