EXECUTIVE CHEF – HYATT CENTRIC SAN JOSE ESCAZU

We are excited to announce the opening of our new Hyatt hotel in San Jose - The Hyatt Centric San Jose Escazu.Our hotel boasts a signature restaurant, lounge bar, and banqueting venues. We are currently seeking an Executive Chef to manage the kitchen and lead the creative process.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, structured, hands-on and creative. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a new culinary concept and lead the culinary team in creating unforgettable dining experiences.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • At least three years of experience as an Executive Chef in a high-profile restaurant or lifestyle hotel signature venue.

  • Experience in multiple cuisines, with a strong focus on Latin-American influences that are currently on-trend.

  • A passion for creating well-balanced and locally inspired menus.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor a culinary brigade through leading by example.

  • Knowledge of HACCP|BPMs and running a comprehensive food safety management system.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to change and efficiently solve problems.

  • Fluency in English is desirable.
