Ensure that all Food Safely regulations are followed in the preparation of the food served. Ensure that team members are properly trained in the quality standards of excellence expected for customer satisfaction. Ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience when dining. Key Responsibilities: Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times. Develop new menu items, additions and specials on an ongoing basis, providing a consistent and perfected product. Develop standardized recipes and techniques to ensure high quality, maximize productivity and minimize foods cost. Ensure that restaurant and culinary goals are communicated, understood, and met by team members, Ensure a safe and sanitary work environment that follows all practices within the law. Resolve product related issues, disputes, and concerns accurately and professionally. Understand and maximize financial performance through line items such as labor and COGS. Have an understanding of both the BOH and the FOH operations Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards. Recruit, hire and retain talented and effective team members. Be able to resolve personal and product issues in a timely manner. Consult with the General Manager about operational issues concerning equipment replacement and upgrades based on needs, suitability and budget. Demonstrate a high level of motivation and resourcefulness under pressure Communicate with all team members, guest, supervisors and vendors in a respectful, timely, and professional manner. Serve as a role model for all team members and customers at the Fish Pedder. Perform other duties, as assigned. What You Bring to Pacific Seafood: Required: 5 Years' management experience in the Restaurant industry Food handler's card. 2 years of formal culinary training is preferred. Preferred: 2 years formal culinary training. Strong customer service skills Effective communication skills Salary Range:$69,000 to $72,000 per year Total Compensation: At Pacific Seafood, your base wage is only a portion of your overall compensation package.
