Position: Staff AccountantJob Location: 230-79 International Airport Center Blvd., Springfield Gardens, NY 11413.Duties: Assist manager with the monthly/annual financial close process including the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP principle. Reconciled, analyzed, and substantiated trend analysis of balance sheet accounts. Assist with intercompany transactions and handled intercompany invoices settlement. Review monthly Selling, General and Administrative (SG&A) expenses, and composed expenses analysis. Delivered variance analysis, and presented data interpretation of results. Reconciled monthly bank deposits with journal ledgers, and prepared bank summaries for J-SOX audit. Record journals entries on general ledger account including, but not limited to preparing daily, monthly & yearly transactions, journal entries and recording of adjustments. Tools: MS Office Suite (Excel: Pivot Tables, Array Formulas) |Oracle/JD Edwards | CargoWise/Yunas | Dynamic 365 |. Ability to work from any location in the U.S.Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business Administration or similar PLUS 2 years of experience in the job offered or similar.Alternative education and experience requirement: Master's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Business Administration or similar with No professional experience required.Skills requirement: Accounting ethics.
