PrairieFire Coffee is growing again! We are looking for aService Technician to

join our incredible team at our Springfield, MO location. Headquartered in Wichita, KS, PrairieFire Coffee Roasters provides state of the art equipment and world class service to customers across the Midwest. At PrairieFire Coffee we source, roast, package and deliver our gourmet coffee directly to the consumer.

As part of our Service Department, theService Technicianhas a major impact on our customers and the relationships we maintain with them. The right person will be a mechanically inclined, safety-conscious individual with basic understanding in the principles of equipment repair to effectively maintain, repair and re-program assorted coffee and tea equipment.

Responsibilities

• Able to work independently and efficiently
• Installation, service and repairof beverage (coffee and tea) equipment
• Preventive maintenance of brewing machines and other equipment
• Internal and external customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized service area

Qualifications

• Mechanical/technical skills required; plumbing and electrical experience highly desired
• Experience as a field service technician or machine maintenance/repair desired
• Must be at least 21 years of age with an insurable driving record
• Coffee machine repair and refurbishment skills preferred
• Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
• Team player with exceptional customer service skills
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screen and a background check
• Must be able to lift/ push/ pull 75 lbs. unassisted
