Position Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Kinder Morgan CO2 Company is currently seeking a Fixed Equipment Maintenance Supervisor for the SACROC Gas Processing CO2 and Power Plants in Snyder, TX. The successful candidate will serve a vital role in maintaining the safe and efficient operation of all aspects of the facilities. The Plants employ a multitude of processes, which include over 300,000Hp of compression, Gas dehydration facilities, NGL Recovery facilities, CO2 membranes, Gas fired 2x1 combined cycle aero-derivative (LM6000) turbines, and supporting equipment. The Plants are PSM Facilities.

The Fixed Equipment Supervisor will be responsible for general oversight and maintenance of plant piping, vessels, and non-rotating equipment. This includes the direct supervision of Plant Mechanics, Plant Roustabouts, Plant Welder, and various Contractors.

DUTIES INCLUDE: • Continued implementation and enhancement of preventative maintenance programs • Maintain an acceptable PM completion rate. • Implementation of improvement projects • Overall management responsibility of the vessel and piping inspection portion of the mechanical integrity program. • Creation, review, and enhancement of maintenance procedures • Evaluation of equipment/system failure modes and rates • Collaborate with other personnel to solve technical problems • Ensure Kinder Morgan and Process Safety Management (PSM) policies are upheld, continuously optimize, evaluate and effectively use company and contractor resources and personnel. • Evaluation of company and contractor safety practices and performance. • Ensure ongoing training and development of employees • Participation in emergency response roles and training • Provide economic analysis, cost estimates and submit AFE requests • Analyze purchases and invoices and identify improvement opportunities • Manage and report fixed equipment spending • Handle regulatory issues as required • Required to carry a cell phone, and be available to respond during working and non-working hours • Participation in Supervisory Weekend/Holiday on-call rotation, must be able to respond to phone calls within 15 minutes and be on site within 45 minutes when on call.

WORKING CONDITIONS: • Facility operations are 24/7, tasks are performed indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions in daylight & darkness. • Must be available 24 hrs a day Mon-Fri and must be available for scheduled on call rotation. • Requires working on holidays when a holiday falls on a scheduled on-call rotation • May be required to stand, walk, sit, ascend/descend stairs or ladders, use hand tools • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. • Plant vessels and piping systems contain H2S and hydrocarbon gases which are flammable and may be explosive under certain circumstances

Position Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 5-7 years’ experience in plant operations and or maintenance • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) • Previous experience with maintenance practices and procedures • Ability to interact, lead, and motivate employees • Strong background in safe work practices and active participation in safety program • Self-starter and high drive for results • Ability to handle multiple tasks • Able to present and communicate ideas effectively • Strong analytical skills • Must maintain a valid drivers license and a driving record acceptable to KM’s insurer. • Must be able to work with a team, take direction from manager, keep required work schedules, focus on attention to detail, and follow work rules.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: • High School Diploma or equivalent

PREFFERED EXPERIENCE: • Prior supervisory experience • Previous facility construction and/or operations experience • Experience with API inspection codes and Risk Based Inspection • Experience with vibration analysis • Experience with Maximo, or other Computerized Maintenance Management Software • Experience and knowledge with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements

PREFERRED EDUCATION: • Bachelors Degree in applicable Engineering or Technology discipline
