Key Qualifications

• Excellent programming skills and knowledge of C/C++ Experience with driver development experience on Mac OS X, Windows, or Linux

• Excellent debugging, and problem solving capabilities

• Knowledge of neural networks, and their applications

• Experience in hardware/software co-simulation, and pre-silicon validation

• Good written and oral interpersonal skills

Description

This is a highly multi-functional product development role, and you will work closely with various teams, like Silicon Design, Product Architecture, QA, Operating System and the ML Frameworks team. The environment is dynamic and requires a self-starter demeanor. In this role, you will: Develop new kernel and user-land drivers for future products from prototyping phases, through to mass production, while maintaining existing drivers across a whole range of Apple products. Develop APIs for Neural engine applications, be involved in neural engine feature specifications, pre-silicon validation, silicon bring-up, and tools creation. Work on HW validation, and provide software support to factory testing. You will also implement features to support hardware testing and diagnosis.

Education & Experience

BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
