Overview

We are growing our Facilities team, and we are seeking a qualified Maintenance Mechanic. This position will focus on electrical with expertise to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting/diagnostic as well as repair maintenance work to building, Production and HVAC assets, including conveyors, electrical circuitry, motors pumps, heaters HVAC, kitchen equipment, plumbing, fire suppression systems, air compressors and emergency generators. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical control systems.

  • Service and repair manufacturing machinery.

  • Troubleshoot and repair worn or failed door hardware including door handles, security access system, and door closers.

  • Perform routine checks on plumbing fixtures. Including faucets, toilets, and showers.

  • Repair and replace worn or failed plumbing fixtures.

  • Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on HVAC units, including building management systems, vents, air flow and air quality.

  • Inspect and test emergency back-up generators.

  • Perform routine checks on UPSs and data facilities.

  • Inspect and repair single ply roof.

  • Perform routine checks of fire risers and fire, life, and safety systems. Report deficiencies to facilities supervisor.

  • Perform checks of exterior property to include landscaping and irrigation, visual checks of exterior lighting and parking lot lighting, and visual checks of all walkways.

  • Replace worn and failed carpet tiles throughout facility.

  • Perform replacement of stained ceiling tiles.

  • Perform replacement of failed light fixtures.

  • Perform maintenance requests submitted by employees.

  • Schedule contractor work for building repairs when needed.

  • Metal fabrication may be required.

  • Move and replace machinery and apparatus using forklifts or other hand or powered equipment.

  • Update Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to reflect current work status. Issue parts used

Qualifications

  • Must be detailed oriented and show proven troubleshooting/diagnostic skills.

  • Experience with troubleshooting electrical control systems required.

  • Experience with three phase power required.

  • Must be customer focused and be able to problem-solve issues within a team environment and independently.

  • Experience with a CMMS preferred.

  • Experience with LOTO, Hot Work, and Confined Space permitting.

  • Low voltage electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system’s diagnostic and troubleshooting experience.

  • Experience with production machinery required.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office.

  • Fabricate and install piping systems for air, water, and drain systems.

  • Must have a high school diploma.

  • Must have experience in manufacturing maintenance or relevant work/industry for five years.

  • Basic knowledge of power cycle.

  • Required to climb ladders, work from heights, and operate manlift equipment.

  • The candidate must be able to engage in moderate physical labor for extended intervals - Feel, reach, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, sit, and smell. Move 100 lbs, lift 50 lbs, and work outdoors in various weather.

  • Ability to accurately comprehend and utilize as built drawings blueprints and engineered drawings.

  • Knowledge of personal protective equipment and practical uses.

  • Capable of responding to on-call situations.

  • Work extended hours and overtime as needed.

  • Capable of supporting Life Safety inspections.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $37,400 - $97,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
