VCA Companion Animal Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to complement our talented team in Redding, California .

VCA takes pride in expanding the growth and skill set of new veterinarians. We welcome newly graduated veterinarians (and current veterinary students) to apply to this position where they will receive individualized support with our 6-month mentorship program and a collaborative hospital team environment.

We are a unique, busy, small animal hospital that forms long terms bonds with loyal clientele, and offers a variety of services including digital radiographs, ultrasound, general surgeries, and advanced dentistry, as well as focusing on high quality preventative care.

Our hospital currently has two full time veterinarians but needs a full-time or part-time associate veterinarian with ample opportunity for expansion.

Current hospital hours are Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm with a possibility of expanding to Saturday hours. There is no on-call hours or night shifts.

VCA Companion Animal Hospital is surrounded by mountains, rivers, and lakes with abundant opportunities for outside activities including hiking, kayaking, skiing, mountain biking and boating. Redding has a revitalized downtown with many restaurants and social activities and is just a short drive to Sacramento, Oregon, and the beautiful Northern California coast.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $180K. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
