Butler Ag Regional Sales Coordinator in Rapid City, South Dakota

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports to aid in the tracking of inventory through the pre- and post-sale process of a machine or attachment.

  • Provides support and training to sales professionals within the assigned territory.

  • Assists in the preparation and assembly of bid proposals, quotes, and buyer’s orders as directed by the supervisor.

  • Review buyers’ orders and worksheets for completeness and flag issues for managers.

  • Coordinates machine movements with sales professionals, inventory control, customers, and transportation departments.

  • Coordinates machine get-ready with BMC shops.

  • Completes all supporting documents Warranty forms, Rental contracts, Etc.

  • Ensure the sales professionals have any necessary finance documents in a timely matter.

  • Procures machine attachments for sales.

  • Completes attachment change forms.

  • Quotes machines and rental rates for walk-in customers as needed.

  • Coordinates and assists with trade shows, exhibits, and customer events with sales staff, marketing, OEMS, and event centers.

  • Works within to promote the vision, mission, and values of BMC.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent combination of sales experience, training/or education.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word are essential.

  • Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Good communication skills – both written and verbal are a must.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Industry knowledge or experience preferred

  • Must be proficient or become proficient in understanding manufacturers’ price lists.

  • Must meet company insurability standards for driving purposes.
