Carlisle Interconnect Technologies Director Regional Sales, Western in Puyallup, Washington

This position is responsible for achieving sales goals (revenue and margin) by driving profitable product mix and by positioning the company as the premier, nationwide, single-ply commercial roofing products provider. The RSD will have a team of 4 to 6 regional sales managers (RM's). Each RM has a team of internal sales personnel as well as external, independent rep agencies with exclusive rights to sell Carlisle products within their contractual territories. Sales are realized both thru a network of distribution partners and thru direct-to-contractor transactions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Direct regional sales activities to achieve continuous profitable sales growth. Aid in the creation, execution and sustainment of both their own regional sales plan and the individual Territory Development Plan (TDP) plan of each RM and rep firm pairing within the region.
  • Foster strong relationships to ensure alignment between Carlisle Syntec, its reps, distribution and roofers. Ensure sales channel optimization in each regional territory with a strong Plan B.
  • Support company strategic initiatives including new product development, marketing and Carlisle Operating System (COS) activities.
  • Aid in talent acquisition, talent development and talent retention within the employee and rep network. Facilitate Individual Development Plan creation, perform midyear/year end reviews and coach/mentor new employees.
  • Represents the company in professional organizations.
  • Reports to the National Sales Director.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related technical field.
  • A minimum of ten years of experience working in the construction products industry.
