JPMorgan Chase Strategy and Process Innovation Associate II - Payments in Plano, Texas

As s Process Improvement Associate in Payments Client Service and Implementations (CS&I), you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data, synthesize complex information, generate hypotheses, and build actionable and measurable roadmaps and project plans to define and support the ambitious 5-year growth plan of the organization.

The Strategy & Innovation team supporting the Payments CS&I organization, is focused on improving the operating environment, delivering efficiencies, and enhancing the experience for our employees and clients. We partner with leaders across CS&I, Payments Operations, and CB Middle Office to facilitate shared prioritization and execution of strategic and procedural improvements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate monitoring and execute updates related to ongoing governance of Client Service and Implementations NorthStar Priorities and Initiatives

  • Project manage specific use cases to facilitate collaboration and efficiently deliver against our Strategic Priorities

  • Conduct Ad-Hoc analytics in support of broader Payments CS&I Strategy (including CS&I drivers, E2E Change Event Engagement Model, Location Strategy, etc.)

  • Support efforts to identify new opportunities to add value / efficiency (AI/ML, Intelligent Automation, etc.) to the overall Payments organization

  • Facilitate creation of business cases for cross CS&I initiatives and deliverables

  • Partner with data and business teams to enhance operating model and deliver enhanced dashboards / reports for executive management and day-to-day execution

  • Partner to help define and establish a governance framework for maintaining and tracking delivery of the ongoing CS&I five-year strategic priorities

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in data-driven and analytical roles

  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and attention to detail

  • Ability to resolve conflict & collaborate across multiple constituencies while managing multiple simultaneous objectives is imperative

  • Resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity

  • Strong experience understanding, sourcing, manipulating, and analyzing data and processes to drive insights and support decisions through business cases/benefits sizing

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities: Ability to effectively convey complex topics in a simple manner leveraging "storytelling" to obtain executive buy-in

  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities

  • 1+ years of experience in an innovation / transformation focused role

  • Financial Services and/or Payments experience

  • Proficiency in data visualization & analytic tools including Alteryx & Tableau

  • Proficiency in project and asset management tools including JIRA, Confluence, & SharePoint

  • Demonstrated experience driving creation / execution of business and/or operational strategy

Work Schedule

  • Hours of operation are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm on a hybrid schedule of in office 3 days and work from home 2 days.
