University of Pennsylvania Assistant Professor AC Faculty Position - Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine - Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

The Division of Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of psychiatry. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Candidates should be board certified or board eligible in Sleep Medicine.

Teaching responsibilities may include training residents and fellows in additional to precepting medical students and other trainees in the field of Sleep Medicine. The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.

Clinical responsibilities may include performing comprehensive evaluations of patients with sleep and respiratory disorders and managing patients with sleep disorders; interpreting polysomnograms, multiple sleep latency test, and home sleep apnea test; rounding on the inpatient sleep consult service at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center as well as the primary outpatient site of the Sleep Division at the University of Pennsylvania.
