Description We are seeking an entry-level Accountant to join our team in Paterson, New Jersey. This role is crucial in supporting the ongoing implementation of our ERP system, Anthology, with a particular focus on payroll functions. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity and is an excellent chance to develop your skills in accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the ongoing implementation of the Anthology ERP system

• Support the payroll function, including running parallel simulations

• Document processes and assist with cleaning data for entry into the new system

• Maintain accurate records and gather information as required

• Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of accounting functions. Requirements • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required

• Knowledge and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to perform basic Accounting Functions such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budget tracking

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Good organizational and multitasking abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
