Express is now hiring for a housekeeper at a hospital based out of Olympia, WA. This is an evaluation-permanent opportunity. 6:30PM to 2:30AM. The compensation for this position will be $19/hr.  

Job Duties:

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning carts, cabinets, and cleaning equipment.
• Is responsible for maintaining the assigned area daily (either clinic or auxiliary) according to cleanliness and safety standards. The checklists are provided for guidance and should be completed on a daily basis.
• Transport dirty bedding, trash, and medical / biohazard waste separately, from all areas to the designated waiting area. You should also keep holding areas closed when not in use.
• Performs essential cleaning tasks including: vacuuming, mopping dust, wet mopping, dusting, emptying trash, cleaning windows, cleaning walls, ceilings, lights, cleaning furniture, consumables, and any other cleaning tasks that are given to you. can assign.
• Inform the director or leader of any operational issues, such as personnel changes, job performance and supplies, etc.
• Know the content of the chemicals and the MSDS manual.
• Actively participate in team building activities, such as daily stretches, daily meetings, and scheduled staff meetings.

• Maintains flexibility as job duties and functions may change depending on the cleaning needs of the hospital.

   

   

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions given in English.
• Must be able to learn to successfully operate assigned equipment.

• Must obtain immunization records: TB, MMR, Tdap, Hep B, Varicella, Updated Flu Vaccination.
