Description

We are in search of a diligent Staff Accountant to join our growing team in Norwalk, CT. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including accounting and some light HR duties such as payroll entries and assisting the VP of HR with onboarding. You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where multi-tasking is the norm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end

• Perform account reconciliations

• Manage accounts payable and receivable by tracking all transactions efficiently

• Prepare journal entries with proper documentation

• Administer internal control of financial transactions

• Bank reconciliations and intercompany accounting duties

• Handle payroll activities through ADP Workforce Now

• Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires

• Create compelling job postings and manage recruitment process

Requirements

• Two+ years of accounting experience

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with General Ledger operations

• Ability to create and manage Journal Entries

• Experience in Month End Close process

• Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now is not required but a plus

• Experience in using Workday software is not required but a plus
