Delaware North Sportservice is hiring a part-time Banquet Attendant to join our team at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Banquet Attendant, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly while providing an excellent guest experience.

Pay

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

$22.00 - $26.00 / hour

Responsibilities

• Fulfill drink orders from guests and collect proper payment as needed

• Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, and adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures

• Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for patrons following standard recipes and using company standardized proportions; serves wine and bottled beer or draws draught beer.

• Cleans, maintains and stores bar and cocktail area and bar stock

• Prepares and replenishes appetizers and/or garnishes as needed

• Performs opening, closing, and additional work duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• One year's previous experience as a bartender in a high-volume environment preferred

• Ability to complete and maintain alcohol service certificate

• Basic math skills, with ability to accurately total guest checks

• Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names

• Verbal communication skills; listening skills with ability to take beverage orders and fill those orders correctly

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for entire length of shift

• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions

• Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally

• Bar environment - noise level may be moderate to high during busy times
