The Munich Marriott City West sets new benchmarks and standards in meetings & events. Inspired by the Bavarian lifestyle and with 398 guest rooms and suites and nearly 5000 sqm of public space, including a state-of-the-art conference center, customized and first-class event needs are put into practice. The upscale concept includes the Italian restaurant & Vineria Assoluto with open show kitchen, the Assoluto Caffe and the Westhub Lounge & Bar, offering an outstanding culinary offering combined with warm hospitality in a stylish ambience. Our guests are also delighted by the spectacular roof terrace and MClub Lounge with panoramic views over the city, all the way to the Bavarian Alps. Who we are looking for...

You are a host, problem solver and eagle eye all in one! You are someone with a lot of experience in daily hotel operations, have a knack for guests and are attentive in everything you do. Nothing escapes your attention on your daily safety rounds, and you spot potential hazards before they arise. You create guidelines and processes for the hotel to ensure the safety of guests & employees and work closely with hotel management on this. During your Manager on Duty shifts you are hands-on and support the teams with words and deeds.

What your responsibilities are...

• You are present with the guests, interested in their experiences and are a professional in the area of complaint management

• You are "hands-on" and sometimes lend a hand in the various departments when help is needed

• You make daily safety rounds through the entire building, document safety-relevant points and take care of their implementation

• You are familiar with the company's internal as well as legal safety regulations and put them into practice.

• You update our crisis manuals, MOD handbooks and other safety-related documentation and train the management team accordingly

• You perform regular bag checks in the back of house area

• You create analyses and reports in the area of security

• You are familiar with the operational and legal handling of surveillance cameras

• You take over the communication and coordination of external security companies if necessary

• You are a real team player with all hotel departments and the leadership team

• You are a communication talent with very good German and English skills

• You have a work permit for the EU/Germany
