The Global Supply Chain leader for the Connectors Group within ADM will have worldwide responsibility for the planning and execution for the extended value streams of this large, growing product family.

Preferred location is in the greater Harrisburg, PA area and plant locations include Mt. Joy, PA; Hastings, UK; Evreux, France; Hermosillo, and Tecate, Mexico.

This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).   Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.

Long Description

  • Optimize the use of systems and tools within the facilities working with these products to ensure that the appropriate processes are in place (and continually evolving) to advance the state of the art in supply chain planning. Tools include IBP Supply, SAP, and a multitude of internally developed control towers, dashboards, and tools.

  • Talent assessment and management of the supply chain organizations across the plants in this assignment. While this is a dotted line relationship, strong cooperation with plant managers on assessment of talent, developing training and succession plans, motivation of team members, and setting targets is critical for success

  • Drive actions to lower lead times, reduce inventory and increase customer satisfaction measurements.

  • Drive the S&OP process across the plants – particularly the supply review process

  • Champion master planning / scheduling activities

  • Champion processes and talent in the plants to manage the master planning & scheduling activities

  • Ensure an operations/planning handshake on the load across the 13-week horizon

  • Review of any potential component shortages and appropriate actions

  • Review processes for optimizing schedule

  • Segmentation of runners/strangers (ABC/XYZ)

  • Review of scheduling and loading rules (product characteristics / sequencing to minimize set-up/changeover time)

  • Partner with operations on improvement activities

  • Optimize freight costs

  • Partnership with procurement. Drive efforts to shorten effective lead times, reduce inventory and increase customer satisfaction measurements.

  • Collaborate with customer care, sales and product management

What your background should look like:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or related field

  • Minimum of 12 years’ experience in operations and or supply chain logistics and people management.

  • Working knowledge of all areas of Supply Chain, including Procurements, Logistics, Customer Service and Engineering.

  • Prior Planning and buying experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with low volume / high product mix.

  • Experience using ERP systems, (SAP experience strongly preferred)

  • Well organized and project management skills

  • Team player with good communication skills who can work across various functions, including sales, product management, material procurement and senior management

  • Solid influencing skills, particularly where there is no reporting relationship.

  • Demonstrate understanding of logistics, financial and operational performance data.

  • Experience using Microsoft applications.

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

  • Depending on location where their homebase is, travel may be 25% to 50%

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience:$139,840- $209,760(subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
