We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a cook. As a cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation and service, ensuring that our residents receive high-quality meals. Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures - Assist with meal planning and menu development - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area - Collaborate with the dietary department to meet the specific dietary needs of customers - Assist with catering events as needed - Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements: - Previous experience in food preparation or a related role is preferred - Knowledge of basic knife skills and food service techniques - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team - Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays - Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
