Job Summary:

The Radio Frequency and Mechanical Analysis Department is seeking an engineering Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) to support the Next Generation Jammer production programs. The qualified candidate will have extensive engineering experience related to development, procurement, manufacture and test of advanced airborne electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and systems. The position will be based in our McKinney, TX location.

The IPTL is a key leader on the NGJ program, whose tasks include: program planning, IMS development & management, Earned Value management, Risk & Opportunity management, engineering oversight to factories and/or suppliers, customer interaction, bid & proposal work, task and labor planning, staffing management and other engineering and management tasks. The selected candidate will be leading a geographically diverse team across multiple Raytheon sites (TX, CA & MS).

This position is an onsite role.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• The role requires a high level of execution expertise across multiple functions including engineering, operations, and supply chain coupled with the ability to lead a high visibility production program and communicate up to program and functional leadership.

• You must have an outstanding ability to provide technical guidance and act as a mentor to your staff.

• You must be adept at making technical presentations and at establishing customer relationships, and be effective at planning, budgeting, forecasting, negotiating, communication, and organization skills.

• Creation and maintenance of an integrated master schedule (IMS) for all work

• Ability to travel to government or other facilities in support of program activities, typically less than 15%.

• Ability to travel to our El Segundo, CA and Forest, MS sites as needed.

• Ability to work on-site at a Raytheon facility.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum of 12 years of prior relevant engineering experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 9 years’ experience.

• Experience collaborating with multi-functional, cross-discipline teams on projects, working groups, and/or inter business units.

• Engineering experience related to development, or procurement, or manufacturing and/or test of advanced airborne electronic subassemblies, assemblies, and systems.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with active electronically scanned antenna (AESA) design, test, and integration.

• Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band prior program experience

• Experience negotiating with internal and/or external suppliers.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate program status, issues and resolution plans across all major stakeholders including senior leadership, customers, and major subcontractors.

• Experience interfacing with senior leadership to provide strategy, status, and reporting on program efforts.

• Experience with business and project management tools and procedures (e.g., IPDS, EVMS, IMS/IMP, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts and EAC)

• Earned Value (EVMS) experience, qualification, and certification.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.

• The ability to travel regularly to meet the needs of the product line.

• Advanced degree in aforementioned disciplines. ABET is the preferred accreditation standard.

• Experience as a technical leader and/or leader of engineering teams.

Clearance Information:

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
