U W-MADISON DIV. CONTINUING STUDIES Mars Agronomy Ops Manager in MARSHFIELD, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: This position is responsible for operating field equipment, performing field operations, vehicle and equipment maintenance, dairy facility maintenance, and manure system maintenance. This position will occasionally work on maintenance projects in the dairy facilities, will delegate work to staff, work with USDA repair personnel, interact with researchers, tracking and maintaining records (preventative maintenance, field, equipment inventory, financial) and other office work, and will work on projects as part of a team. Aptitude for skills such as mechanics, basic plumbing and electrical, and fabrication are necessary. General knowledge of field operations and crop production are also critical. This position is also required to maintain a valid commercial driver\'s license or have the ability to obtain one within a year. This position will occasionally be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
