Candidates who are interested in working at a dynamic organization with a growing team will be interested in this Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist position, which will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The permanent opening for an Account Payable Specialist is located in the Louisville, Kentucky area.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

• Handle the administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department

• Produce full-cycle A/P

• Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

• Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it

• Perform special projects as assigned

• Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling

• Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

• Help with internal and external audits as required

  Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

• Strong time management and organizational skills

• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

• Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP)

• Solid understanding of Sage Intacct

• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
