Lake Placid Lodge Line Cook in Lake Placid, New York

Job Title: Line Cook

Job Description: Are you a friendly and courteous professional dedicated to providing guests with an exceptional dining experience? If so, then you would be an excellent addition to our team!

Responsibilities Include... -Prepare and cook all food items as laid out in the menu and in accordance with the specifications on the prep sheet. -Handle line assignments as scheduled (station prep and station service) -Understanding of proper mise en place. -Check condition of equipment; obtain necessary utensils, tools and supplies. -Handle leftover food items as instructed by the Chef. -Clean assigned work station areas. -Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices according to Local Health and State Laws. -Any other task as defined by Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

Requirements: -Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Line Chef, Restaurant Cook or Prep Cook -Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures -Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment. -Some culinary education preferred -Various shifts available, including AM and PM

Salary range of $17-$20 per hour
