re:fab Project Manager-with construction management experience-Southern Maine AREA in Kittery, Maine
re:fab is a full-service painting and renovation company based out of New Bedford, MA. The individual will have knowledge in performing detailed take-offs of property conditions, blueprints for small, medium, and large projects utilizing estimating software like Xactimate, Quick Bid and other software for residential and commercial structures. Experience in document review and analyses of schedules, contracts, change orders, daily construction reports as well as technical reports. A strong working knowledge of all project phases including conceptual and schematic drawings to a completed project. The role is a combination of inside & outside project management with local travel required Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
This position will support the operations department
Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
Project management setup
Meet or exceed project quotas
Complete site inspection
Passion for being detail oriented and highly organized
Travel required
This position will report into the Director of Renovation
Project Manager Requirements & Skills:
Have an innovative approach to the work for better efficiency
Open-minded, collaborative and team-oriented attitude
Capacity to work within a high-performance, cross-functional, and fast-paced organization with tight timelines and goals
Written and verbal communication presentation skills are necessary
Working knowledge of construction best practices, general building codes, and various building types
Develop detailed cost estimates as designs develop, communicating with various stakeholders on cost drivers and value engineering opportunities across all trades
Experience in value engineering and cost modeling with fast turnaround results
Collaborating with subcontractor bids and receiving pricing
Pricing of materials with multiple vendors, including subcontractors
Pre-planning projects of projects – Building schedule
