Summary You will serve as a MOBILE EQUIPMENT SERVICER in the RIGGING & OPERATIONS DIVISION, LIFTING & HANDLING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will keep detailed and updated records of lubrication, fuel amounts and fuel oil tank conditions. You will operate valves and starts or stops motors, pumps, and compressors. You will keep equipment clean by wiping off excess oil and grease. You will maintain hazardous materials lockers for operators daily. Reading and interpreting blueprints for the maintenance of schedules and measuring devices (e.g., dipsticks, fuel gauges, and tag out procedures). Performing routine maintenance operations on equipment and other heavy machinery. Maintaining equipment without compromising cleanliness or safety regulations.
