Visit www.qorvo.com to learn how our diverse and innovative team is helping connect, protect and power our planet SUMMARY The Photolithography Equipment Technician is responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing and test equipment. The candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills and work well in a team environment. We are seeking a technician to support ASML PAS/5500 Steppers, ASML XT400 Scanners, Tel ACT 8 tracks, and a variety of other photolithography equipment. This is a non-exempt position working on a compressed work week shift \' night shift (Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.). This is a factory position and requires wearing cleanroom attire and working in a cleanroom environment. Standing for long periods and lifting up to 35 lbs is required. You may be required to wear PPE and be exposed to hazardous processing materials RESPONSIBILITIES: Able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fab equipment Able to improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive tool break downs Monitor and analyze all related tool data, make recommendation and improvements to maintenance procedures Work with engineers to design and execute equipment improvements projects Able to clearly communicate machine status verbally in daily pass-down meetings Able to provide clear written communication to engineers and technicians on other shifts QUALIFICATIONS: Associate\'s technical degree in electrical, mechanical or chemical engineering or military electronics training equivalent 2-5 years of experience preferred Strong mechanical and electronic skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Demonstrated project management skills (tool upgrades, installation, decommissioning, development), problem solving ability and knowledge of SPC and how it is used and implemented in the manufacturing environment Candidates must be able to stand/walk up to 12 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs as well as be able to wear a respirator and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for possible work handling hazardous materials Additional requirements include Basic computer skills, MS Office, strong interpersonal and communications skills, ability to work with minimum supervision in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, strong work ethic with verifiable references. Must be willing to work nights or days on a compressed work week schedule Special consideration for individuals with experience on ASML 400XT Scanners, ASML PAS5500, TEL ACT 8 and equipment Qorvo will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorizations for this position.
