Slot Floor Supervisor

HOURS: FULL TIME POSITION(S): MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALL SHIFTS WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS WAGE: BASED ON EXPERIENCE

*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *

  • Provide superior customer service to our customers, internal/external alike.
  • Perform coin fills and ticket fills as needed.
  • Assist customers as needed with fills, tickets, complaints, etc. Oversee, verify, and approve slot machine payouts.
  • Verify all machine overrides.
  • Void jackpots, payouts, and fills correctly when required.
  • Explain to customers when asked how ticket in/ticket out and Promo Cash work.
  • Direct customers should they need further assistance.
  • Understand the use of tilt codes and how to resolve them to assist a customer or repair a machine.
  • Provide change to customers.
  • Sign out money wallet from cage and maintain an allotted amount of money in wallet, return to cage at shift's end with same amount enclosed.
  • Sign out slot keys at the beginning of shift and sigh them back in at shift's end.
  • Call in to Surveillance and log at Cage any tips received.
  • Perform some minor repairs to slot machines when necessary.
  • Clean machines (external and internal), replace bulbs when needed, and perform other preventative maintenance on machines when time allows.
  • Meet with Slot director and/or Slot Manager to review slot activity and/or employee issues.
  • Review jackpot/fill override reports, as needed with Slot Manager.
  • Complete "weekly assigned tasks" records and submit to Slot Manager in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all policies and procedures are performed within those guidelines on his/her shift.
  • Delegate minor maintenance, such as cleaning (inside and out), changing bulbs, etc.
  • Assist with annual performance reviews.
  • Assist with machine moves, installs, and take-downs.
  • Attend all Slot Department meetings and/or training sessions.
  • Attend pertinent training seminars and conferences where travel may be required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in related field and/or training. Previous customer service experience required. Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred. Must have basic computer experience. Knowledge: Knowledge and understanding of machine tilt codes and how to resolve the along with understanding of CDS maintenance codes and functions. Knowledge and understanding of company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the M.I.C.S. (Minimum Internal Control Standards) Skills and Abilities: Must have the ability to maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor. Must be able to handle high stress situations as they present themselves. Must have strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills. Must have proven customer service skills and excellent mathematical skills. Must be able to multi-task and react to changing priorities. Must be able to work strategically and collaboratively as well as individually. Must be a team player and have proven dependability and reliability. Must be flexible to work any day and shift.
