Job Description:

The University of Florida's Division of Enrollment Management is actively searching for a service-oriented individual to join our team as a OneStop Advisor. This unique role plays an important part in our collaborative effort between the offices of the University Registrar, Admissions, Student Financial Aid and Scholarships, and the University Bursar.

The OneStop Enrollment Services unit is a high-volume, fast-paced service area, delivering enrollment services and support to over 56,000 enrolled students and more than 90,000 applicants across all levels. Our team provides centralized and integrated student-centric enrollment services through virtual, self-service, and in-person modalities, contributing to the simplification and enhancement of access to UF's comprehensive suite of enrollment services.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the frontline for routine enrollment service requests, addressing student needs through telephone, in-person interactions, email, and the Gator360 CRM.

  • Managing cases in Gator360, ensuring the resolution of both routine and complex student needs.

  • Collaborating with core offices and students to resolve complex enrollment issues.

  • Interpreting and communicating university academic programs, systems, and complex federal, state, and university rules, regulations, and procedures.

  • Acting as a team lead to student assistants (OneStop assistants), providing tier-two support for resolving complex enrollment issues.

  • Assisting in the training and mentorship of student assistants.

  • Staying current on enrollment management functions through ongoing training, including process improvements, financial aid regulations, and relevant policies and procedures.

  • Participating in special projects and performing other duties as assigned.

This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL, and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary:

$40,000 annually

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with financial aid, registrar, admissions, billing or other student enrollment or academic support services.

  • Knowledge of rules and regulations relating to student academic and enrollment processes, policies, procedures, and regulations.

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional relationships when working with sensitive and challenging information and situations.

  • Multicultural competencies - demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to articulate and interpret information.

  • Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and work with minimal supervision.

  • Strong user automated-systems skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and multi-line telephone and administrative computing systems.

  • Working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Gator360 and other student records systems also preferred.
