Adecco US, Inc. Material Handler in Everett, Washington

Adecco is assisting looking for a Material Handler to work at their client in Everett, WA. This is a long term temporary, or temp to perm opportunity!

Responsibilities for Material Strider jobs include but are not limited to:

Ships, receives, packages, counts, and routes material, completing associated paperwork and/or operating assembly machinery

Coordinate shipping and receiving and material handling transactions with appropriate individuals/departments

Responsible for assigned picking inventorying, and packaging.

Route packaging materials to proper departments.

Instruct and/or assist in preparing merchandise for shipment.

Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems.

Sets up locations in ERP and resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and receiving discrepancies with planner-buyer.

Arranges stock to best advantage for efficiency and accessibility.

Adheres to all safety rules and may use hand truck and other material moving tools.

Deliver product from receiving to the appropriate destination.

Expedite internal material requirements, transferring inventory to multiple locations including MRB.

Setup material presentations in the cells utilizing FBS tools including Fortive Material Systems (FMS) and Visual Management.

Must be able to read, speak and understand English to understand oral and written information and directions to to maintain a safe working environment.

Communication, verbal and written, text and drawings, to perform tasks and clearly laisse with engineering and management as equipment / production problems arise

Must be able to match-up colors.

Basic mathematical competency i.e. understanding of basic arithmetic

Attention to detail

Manual dexterity / Aptitude for fine detail work/inspection

Reliability and dependability

Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal direction, once trained

Committed to producing high quality components

Confidently use a windows-based PC - Web browser, email, basic word and excel operations.

Able to work closely with others toward a common goal

Able to multi-task without becoming overwhelmed. (Running multiple operations / pieces of equipment in the cell)

Willing to work overtime as needed

Pay Details: $17.00 to $22.00 per hour
