A Facilities and Maintenance Entry Level Technician helps complete a variety of manufacturing and production support tasks. Job assignments will frequently change based on the demand for production. Tasks may include working in shipping and receiving, delivering parts while driving company vehicles, performing machinery cleaning and maintenance, assembling parts, operating CNC (and other) equipment, dumping chip barrels, processing coolant, building tooling carts, and performing general shop cleanup. The Facilities and Maintenance Entry Level Technician will perform general duties and other duties as assigned.

  • Must represent the company in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.

  • Able to unload and load trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks. Must be able to band materials in preparation for shipping.

  • Responsible for assisting with packaging parts, boxing, address labeling, bills of lading, barcodes, and other paperwork.

  • Must have driver’s license and clean driving record to operate company vehicles while delivering parts and running company errands.

  • Able to assist or independently perform machinery maintenance and cleaning according to maintenance checklists and instructions.

  • Able to complete a variety of uncomplicated assemblies, operate CNC (and other equipment), with instruction and setup assistance provided.

  • Able to manage our shop waste requirements: Dumping chip barrels using the forklift, processing coolant, and coordinate chip recycling pickup.

  • Able to perform general shop cleanup, sweeping, mopping, and running the automated floor sweeper.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Able to read and comply with company policies, work instructions, and quality assurance procedures.

  • Able to effectively work under strict production deadlines and schedules.

  • Positively respond to changing work assignments and job duties

  • Able to effectively manage stress.

  • Normal or correctable hearing

  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.

  • Correctable vision to 20-20

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. either individually or with assistance.

    DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Some manufacturing related work experience
