Robert Half is looking for skilled Accounts Receivable Clerks to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services for our clients in the Eugene area. Accounts Receivable duties include ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

Job Duties:

• Maintain accurate records of incoming payments and outstanding invoices.

• Process and post customer payments to appropriate accounts.

• Monitor accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

• Prepare and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or billing issues.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and concerns.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies with attention to detail.

• Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts receivable.

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.

• Keep accurate documentation of all communication and actions related to accounts receivable.

  Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.

• Proven experience as an accounts receivable clerk or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
