Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary:

Performs cleaning functions in various areas of the hospital. Maintains these areas in a clean and orderly fashion in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and foremost to provide an environment conducive to patient recovery

Essential Functions

• Requires operation of mechanical equipment such as vacuums.

• Visual acuity to detail cleanliness.

• Reasoning ability as employees must use self-judgment in changing sequence of areas cleaned to meet needs of unit or area.

• Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction.

• Builds and promotes a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.

• Attendance: works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy.

Education & Qualifications:

· Required: None

· Preferred: High School or GED preferred
