Job Summary and Qualifications

Position Summary: The Data Quality Manager (DQM) is responsible for assisting in coordinating the completion of project assessments; assisting with the development of education/training materials; and managing unsigned orders in Meditech. The DQM also assists the Director of Advanced Clinicals (DAC) with facility implementations of initiatives.

Essential Functions:

• Assists DAC in providing order workflow support

• Assists DAC in systems training for project team and serves as Super User for Clinicians

• Assists DAC with specialized ongoing support for physicians

• Designs and develops base education/training materials in CPOE to support staff training and continued education

• Assists DAC in actively supporting and promoting systems standardization, utilization and best practices in the area of CPOE

• Participates in special projects as needed and performs other duties as assigned by DAC

• An understanding, enthusiasm and commitment to the goals of the project

• Leadership skills to direct others and maintain a common vision for project objectives

• Must be a motivator with effective organizational skills and good problem solving, analytical skills

• Existing knowledge of the facility’s clinical/operational processes, challenges and Meditech environment

• The ability to delegate tasks and enlist the cooperation and /or assistance of team members and others

• Assist Patient/Proxy with Patient Portal enrollment process and initial login process

• Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction

• Builds and promotes a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement

• Attendance: works as scheduled and is compliant with Attendance and Tardiness Policy

Qualifications and Education:

• Registered Nurse with an active license to practice in New Hampshire

• Associate Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

• Minimum three to five years’ nursing experience
