Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a dedicated and experienced Complex Civil Litigation Paralegal for a 100% onsite contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and possess the skills necessary to provide comprehensive support to the attorneys.

Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys with all aspects of complex civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.

• Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.

• Conduct legal research and analysis on case law, statutes, and regulations.

• Organize and manage case files, including electronic and paper documents.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date deadlines.

• Coordinate with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.

• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.

• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit preparation and witness coordination.

• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards of the legal profession.

  Requirements

• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in complex civil litigation.

• Trial experience is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work product.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with state and federal court procedures and rules.

• Coordinate discovery.
