ATCO Frontec is seeking an energized and dynamic person to join the Camp Services team near Delta Junction, AK. The General Kitchen Help is responsible for ensuring that all the flatware, pots, pans, and plate-ware are cleaned, sanitized, and up to the Camp standards, and help with the basic preparation of food.

This role is worked on a rotational basis in person, on a 4 week on/2 week off rotation.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize tables in eating areas as needed to maintain a clean and orderly eating area.
• Restocks plates and cutlery
• Washes dishes by handwashing and using an industrial dishwasher
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
• Washes worktables, walls, and refrigerators
• Helps unload stock and places on shelves, using correct FIFO methods
• Washes pots, pans, plates, through industrial dishwasher as well as hand washing.
• Removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers.
• Follow requirements of the Health, Safety and Environment Management System.
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS:

• The successful candidate must hold a valid Alaska food safety certificate
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised
• Team Player
• Camp kitchen experience is an asset
