The Opportunity

Hyatt seeks an enthusiastic Associate Vice President (AVP) of Enterprise Strategy Communications to join our Global Communications team and the CEO's office. In this role, you will be collaborating closely with the broader Communications team and the CEO and Senior Leadership team, playing an instrumental role in continuing to make Hyatt a leading hospitality company. The Role

A core member of Hyatt’s Global Communications team and the office of the CEO, this is a strategic thinker and business-savvy communications leader who will work closely with the CEO and various Senior Leadership Team members to drive communications and engagement for key strategic enterprise initiatives as part of Hyatt’s transformational growth journey. Core responsibilities include:

•Develop and drive execution of integrated communications and engagement plan to scale Hyatt Ways of Working/Agile across the enterprise globally

•Spearhead development of audience-led communications plan to increase awareness of/engagement with Hyatt’s explorations of how to leverage Artificial Intelligence to advance care, improve the colleague experience, and strengthen capabilities for growth

•Create and launch new storytelling and engagement formats to bring the above plans to life across key stakeholders, including internal and external audiences

•Support the development of a corporate narrative platform that inspires and compels key stakeholders to be part of Hyatt’s next chapter by articulating what makes Hyatt unique and elevating points of difference

Qualifications:

Experience Required:

•12 years of experience in corporate communications experience required; public company experience required; hospitality, consulting experience and/or agile experience is a strong plus

•Strong business acumen

•High degree of personal and professional savvy and experience to inspire confidence among audiences at all levels of the organization

•Strong empathetic orientation and high level of personal commitment/caring. Unquestionable integrity

•Proven ability to produce strategic communications and engagement plans and content. Strong writer and editor

•Conceptual, strategic, and creative thinker, capable of developing plans that deliver outcomes

•Strong intellect, flexible and adaptable, stimulated by challenges, and open-minded with a strong desire to learn

Experience Preferred:

•Bachelor of Arts or Sciences in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related degree
