Deployed Services LLC Operations Center Manager in Carrizo Springs, Texas

TheOperations Center Manageris responsible for managing the daily operations of the assigned facility while providing direction and integrative coordination in the planning, development, and implementation of a comprehensive Operations Center program.

Essential Functions:

  • Prioritize operational issues as the real-time point of contact and implement creative solutions to solve problems as they arise
  • Resolving grievances and workplace issues to maintain and enhance a positive working environment
  • Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives
  • Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics to ensure compliance and integrity by training and providing direction to employees
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of Deployed Services business practices and improve efficiencies
  • Serve as Emergency Incident Commander during emergency or program-impacting events at the site; adhering to established FEMA-certified Incident Command System (ICS) protocols during business continuity and disaster recovery efforts
  • Establishes and implements short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Designs, implements, and evaluates organization and staffing to effectively accomplish the goals and objectives of the Operations Center program
  • Recommends and participates in the development of Operations Center policies and procedures; may serve on site planning and policy-making committees
  • Ensure compliance with program, state, and federal laws, policies, and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, methods, and techniques within emergency operations
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex operational data and prepare business reports, projections, and recommendations
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment within a complex partnership /organizational structure
  • Ability to supervise and train employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
  • Advanced knowledge of Incident Command System (ICS) protocol
  • Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or 2-year equivalent required; bachelors degree preferred
  • 3 to 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; 5 to 10 years of experience preferred
  • Employee development and performance management skills
  • Must obtain and maintain a federal Tier 2 Security Clearance and Texas State Child Abuse/Neglect database check
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
