Job Description

The Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is located in the center of the bustling Seaport District. To provide consistent, efficient, personalized and prompt food and beverage service in our In room Dinning while ensuring that Omni Hotel & Resort standards are met at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests when entering the rooms with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.

  • Set up according to type of event and service standards.

  • Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on menu selections.

  • Communicate with culinary team regarding meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs and special requests.

  • Record transction in MICROS system at time of order.

  • Present accurate check to guest and process payment.

  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.

  • Clean and set up.

  • Complete closing duties.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of food/beverage service preferred.

  • Knowledge of food and beverage service.

  • Good verbal and written skills.

  • Knowledge of Micros preferred

  • Ability to work well under pressure.

  • Good up-selling skills.

  • Self-motivated, flexible and reliable.

  • Honest and dependable.

  • Great customer service and a positive attitude.

  • Ability to become TIPS certified

  • TABC and Texas Food Handlers certification
