Job Summary:

Cook or assists the cook with food preparation, cleaning, and upkeep of kitchen & dining room for senior citizens & their guests in a\ Residential Care Facility (Assisted Living), Responds appropriately to safety hazards, fire drills, & other, emergency situations. Documents\ & reports eating habits in care notes & reports significant changes in habits to the Administrator or Administrator\'s designee. Promote\ healthy Eating habits while offering different choices when a resident chooses to refuse his or her current physician ordered diet

Experience Required

This position prefers individual who has previous work-related experience. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, including written and verbal skills, work well independently and as a part of a team. The individual must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently and be able to demonstrate a positive attitude. Ability to read, write and do simple arithmetic. Must be 18 years of age or older or hold a current Certified Nurse Aid License in the State of Idaho. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, seniors citizens, and the general public. Must be able to provide efficient, friendly service to seniors and their guests. Complete eight hours of continuing education credits per year. Must pass personal background check.

Min Education

High School diploma or equivalent.
