Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the subject matter expert in RF communication systems, especially transceivers and filters.

• Lead the integration and validation processes for satellite RF systems, including both the Q/V band gateway link and lower frequency user link systems.

• Manage key supplier relationships and collaborations for RF system components and services.

• Develop and execute detailed RF system test plans and protocols.

• Collaborate with the testing team to review test results, investigate non-conformances, and drive issue resolution.

• Coordinate with RF design, algorithm, and software/firmware teams to ensure cohesive development and troubleshooting practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Communications, or a related field, with a preference for candidates with an advanced degree.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with RF systems.

• Proficiency in using RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Vector Signal Analyzers, Network Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.

• Strong foundation in digital communications including DAC/ADC, IQ imbalance, beamforming, digital predistortion (DPD), digital phase-locked loops (DPLL), automatic gain control (AGC), and error vector magnitude (EVM) analysis.

• Experience in RF component and system-level design, including PCB implementations.

• Competency in programming for automation of RF tests, with experience in languages such as Matlab, C#, C, or Python.

• Demonstrated ability to perform deep-dive debugging across RF, hardware, and software domains.

• Excellent engineering and problem-solving skills, with a pragmatic approach and a broad system perspective.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with various technical teams.

• Must have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance or hold a Permanent Resident Card.
